Membership Moments with Central Texas Spiritwear

Christy Bryson is literally a fairy tale story in this business. About 4 years ago I met this young lady at our very first ever business event that was centered around building your mum business. She was quiet but took notes and asked questions. Her focus was very clear. Since that time Christy has made herself and CTSW a major player in this industry and we could not be more proud.

She has been married to her High School sweetheart, Sam, since 1989. They have three sons, Noah 23, a 2nd LT. in the US Army. Quinton 20 is at UT Tyler, he runs XC and Steeplechase, and Moe 18, about to be a rat (freshman) at Virginia Military Institute. Her sons play a role in how her mum adventures began.

CTSW formally started selling mums about 4 years ago. Each year Christy has been able to double her business. She attributes that a lot to Mums Inc. However, watching her grow as a member over the past years is truly in part to her dedication to her craft and her tireless work ethic to get better.

Her first mum came about through the needs of her sons first year of public school. Christy home-schooled her kids for many years. It was the first mum she had ever made and that young lady is now her daughter in law and she still has the mum. How many moms can say that?

In her spare time Christy is an avid hiker.

One of her goals is to hike the Appalachian trail once her husband retires. She creates spirit items in the off season from mums. Her Etsy store offers monogrammed sweatshirt blankets. Classifying herself as a serial blogger having done over a dozen blogs in 14 years, she seriously enjoys telling a story. Currently she has one called "My Turn" which she started back in January. She is also a popular blogger for Mums Inc. Christy also works a full time job outside of mums as a receiver for a local grocery store in her area.

When it comes to mumming Christy considers her style classy and elegant. Looking at the faces of her customers when they receive their mums is her most favorite part about this business. She notes it also feels good to help moms be the hero for their kids. Her ultimate goal for her mum business is to open her very own supply store. This does not currently exist in her area.

Central Texas Spirit Wear personifies what Mums Inc. was established for, business growth in a very large Texas craft business. Years of hard work and effort have led CTSW to become a major voice in the homecoming industry. I cannot say enough how proud we are of Christy and her accomplishments as a member and as a business owner. Check her out at www. CentralTexasSpiritWear.com, you will not be disappointed.
