Delaynie Roberts lives in Gainesville, Texas but also covers the Forney area. She has been crafty since she was a young girl, making gifts for girls on her drill team. So, in her senior year of high school, she decided to make her first over-the-shoulder mum. That is where it all began. From then on, she made all of her brother’s garters, and his girlfriend’s mums over his high school years. That is where Sissy’s Loot started, even though the name did not come into play until years later. See, Sissy is what her brother called her and loot for her mean goods, prizes, and hauls, which is where her ribbon and bling hoarding come into play.
Delaynie has an associate's degree in science in general business from Trinity Valley Community College. She works full-time for Brinker International, which owns Chili’s and Maggiano’s restaurants. Delaynie has volunteered at several events and charities throughout her career at Brinker. Still, one of her passions outside of Brinker charities is to help with the Carry the Load Project in honor of her brother SSG. Jeremie “JBO” who was killed in action on 09/01/2012. Each year, she donates part of her earnings to Carry the load and to the local band in Gainesville.
Her business caters to Forney, Mesquite, Rockwall, Terrell, Whitesboro, Valley View, and surrounding areas.
